hello everyone! you may recall the last time I sent this newsletter — which, yes, was months ago — where I claimed it was returning and to expect more regular and substantial posts. I did sincerely mean to follow through on this promise, but sometimes my brain has other ideas. My apologies.
However, I have news: my roommate Babz and I have just launched a new newsletter in conjunction with the return of our variety show of the same name, Queers N Peers. The newsletter will be a sort of written variety show, featuring astrology insight from Babz (who really does know a lot of interesting stuff beyond your basic horoscopes!), updates about what we’ve been cooking and how we’ve been cooking it, and interviews with the local performers and artists affiliated with our show.
Plus, there’ll be other sorts of written content about whatever’s on our mind (sort of like what this newsletter was supposed to be), like restaurant recommendations, ruminations on sticking to a skincare routine with an ADHD brain, and idk, maybe little essays about movies and TV shows we’re watching. It’s an evolving thing that I’m excited about, and we’d like you to be a part of it.
Due to this, I’ll be taking a step back from this newsletter in order to better focus on this new collaborative one. Subscriptions are $5 per month or $50 per year (which saves you about $10), and while the first post is free for everyone, the majority of future content will go to paid subscribers. We’re planning on 2-3 posts a month, as to not clog up inboxes too much. The money generated from this will help pay our performers and ourselves, so we’d truly appreciate it if you subscribed or even told a friend about it.
Also, if you’re in NYC, come to our show this Sunday at Brooklyn Comedy Collective in East Williamsburg!
Thank you and hope everyone is having a good week :~)
